Learn art and Spanish on the spot: extracurricular visits to the museum

This workshop combines Spanish language practice with an exploration of Spanish art and culture in an engaging gallery setting. It gives teachers the opportunity to refresh their Spanish while discovering creative ways to bring authentic cultural content into the classroom. Participants will gain practical ideas and inspiration to make Spanish learning more interactive and meaningful through extracurricular activities.

What We Will Cover

Participants will explore Spanish art and artists through engaging activities in the gallery, will practise Spanish vocabulary and language skills in an authentic cultural setting.

They will also discover new ways to use art to support Spanish language learning in the classroom, and take part in interactive tasks that encourage communication, observation and discussion in Spanish.

Finally, participants will leave with practical ideas and resources to inspire students through Spanish art and culture.
