Lifelong Learning: free online training opportunities for Spanish teachers
This workshop introduces teachers to lifelong learning by exploring non-formal and informal learning, along with self-directed learning, to help them reflect on and enhance their own professional growth.

This workshop provides a practical introduction to lifelong learning, exploring the differences and complementarities between formal, non-formal, and informal learning, as well as the value of self-directed learning in foreign language teaching contexts. Teachers will learn how to search and select self-tailored learning experiences and how to design strategies that foster autonomy, curiosity and self-regulation.

What we will cover
Participants will engage in reflective and practical activities to explore their own learning processes, identify opportunities for lifelong learning in their professional contexts, and experiment with strategies for self-directed growth. They will gain tools to recognise and value learning that occurs in non-formal and informal settings and learn how to apply these insights to their own continuous professional development. By the end of the workshop, participants will feel more empowered to take ownership of their learning and enhance their effectiveness as Spanish teachers. They will also know how to access OERs.
