Make the most of the online resources on the Museo del Prado website to teach art, culture, and language in the Spanish classroom.

Teachers will gain insights on how to integrate authentic cultural content and ready-to-use materials, as virtual guided visits, learning sheets, and will turn museum resources into meaningful language-learning activities.

What we will cover

Teachers will learn how to design activities around visual literacy and how to connect paintings to grammar, vocabulary, or communicative tasks.

We will go through:
- Curated pathways through the Prado website
- Classroom-ready activities
- Strategies for integrating art with language learning objectives

Who should attend

Teachers of Spanish in New Zealand.

The workshop will be delivered in Spanish.

Language Circle is funded to provide professional learning for provisionally and fully registered Primary, Intermediate and Secondary teachers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
