Wellbeing for Sustainable School Leadership

2-term online programme to help educational leaders create and implement wellbeing goals.

Terms 2 & 3 in 2026. All sessions on Tuesdays (90 minutes).

With the guidance of global and national experts in wellbeing, this 2-term online programme combines three key elements to help educational leaders create a wellbeing plan and progress toward their wellbeing goals, facilitated by experienced former or current principals.

Learning Outcomes

You will:

  • Build resilience in the face of ongoing professional challenges and uncertainty to better achieve optimal performance
  • Enhance personal self-awareness and emotional intelligence to approach challenges by responding rather than reacting
  • Strengthen influence within leadership roles to enhance team collaboration, strategic thinking and decision-making
  • Meet goals set through an individual Wellbeing Plan

Dates and Times

All sessions are 90 minutes and for consistency, are scheduled for Tuesday mornings (exact times to be sent). Other key dates are:

  • MAY 26 - Resilience Institute Workshop Two
  • JUNE 9 - Professional Learning Communities (PLC 2)
  • JUNE 16 - Expert Speaker Sessions (Professor Peter O'Connor, University of Auckland)
  • JUNE 30 - Resilience Institute Workshop Three
  • JULY 21 - Professional Learning Communities (PLC 3)
  • JULY 28 - Expert Speaker Sessions (Professor Melinda Webber, University of Auckland)
  • AUGUST 11 - Resilience Institute Workshop Four
  • AUGUST 25 - Professional Learning Communities (PLC 4)

$1350 per person + GST
