These resources compare sport in NZ and in the French-speaking world. There are a variety of resource types, including sound recordings and scaffolding elements for students (and kaiako) who are not ready for full immersion.

What We Will Cover

During this 45-minute workshop, teachers will be presented with resources they can use in their classes about sport in the French speaking world. Teachers will leave this workshop with ready-to-use resources with their students. Scaffolding is also provided for those who are not ready for the full immersion step, and sound files are available to support pronunciation and listening.

Who Should Attend

Teachers of French in New Zealand.
This workshop aims to be delivered in French; however, it should not stop anyone from attending, and we will adapt.

Cost

Language Circle is funded to provide professional learning for provisionally and fully registered Primary, Intermediate and Secondary teachers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
