Kara Morrison

Kara is a Facilitator for Language Circle and Project Lead for Learning Languages support in schools. She holds a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of Auckland and a DELE C2 certificate, and brings over a decade of experience across primary and secondary education.

An early career in corporate computer training provided a strong foundation in adult learning and professional development, shaping a facilitation style that is practical, collaborative, and grounded in real-world application.

Extended time living in Latin America initiated a curiosity about culture and language, and how the two shape and reflect one another, perspectives she brings into her teaching practice. She has also planned and accompanied teachers on immersion trips to Spain over the past three years. Kara facilitates PLD programmes for language teachers, supporting their professional growth so they can confidently refine and strengthen their teaching in ways that are authentic to their settings and improve outcomes for their students.
