The CLEC Programme is a collaborative initiative between the University of Auckland and the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Chinese Ministry of Education.

Language Circle announced its official launch as a national organisation dedicated to supporting educators, school leaders, and kaiako to build research-based, inclusive, future-focused language learning programmes across Aotearoa New Zealand.

In the September school holidays a group of teachers travelled to Madrid and Salamanca for the 2025 Spain Immersion Programme.

In December 2025, a group of teachers travelled to Beijing for the Chinese Immersion Trip.
